- Next, open a private browsing window in Google Chrome, or clear your current browsing window’s history. In the new browser follow step one.
If the issue persists after follow these steps, please sign into your bank's website and then copy the website (URL) listed at the top of the page and send that URL to our team.

Error 108:

- Using a computer, open a private browsing window (using Google Chrome). The prompt will most likely not show in the mobile banking app.
- Sign in to your bank's website and check for anything you may need to update or clear from the bank. You might also try signing in to your bank's website on a device that you do not normally use to sign in to the account. You may learn more information about what you need to address by contacting your bank directly.

- If so, delete the duplicate account.

Error 185 & 187:
Why am I receiving this error?
This error is related to the security process during sign-in. Your bank is requiring that you either enter a one-time passcode or answer a security question to verify that it's you trying to connect your bank account to EveryDollar.
How do I resolve this error?
- Occasionally, you'll see a prompt asking you to "Update login" next to the bank account name in your Accounts tab. Click this prompt and follow the steps to address the security requirements to clear the error and reconnect.
- If you do not see the "Update login" option but do see the "!" indicating there is an error with your account, delete the bank and then re-add it by addressing the security requirements again.
- Once this verification requirement is complete and the error is resolved, EveryDollar will search for any available transactions and account balance information to import.
How often do I have to address these security prompts?
Since this is a temporary error some banks and institutions require that you either answer a security question or enter a one-time passcode every single time you want to connect to the institution in a third-party tool like EveryDollar.
This is a feature of their security settings. You may be able to reach out to your bank directly to see if they can reconfigure that security requirement for your account. We have found that changing to a security question instead of a one-time passcode may allow you to stay connected in EveryDollar for a longer period of time. Unfortunately, since this is a decision on your bank's side, we're not able to bypass it.
Error 324:

Note that your bank will import a batch of transactions from the first of the month to the current date. These transactions don’t impact your tracked transactions and can be deleted in bulk.
Here are a couple of guides that walk you through deleting transactions in bulk, just in case this is an unfamiliar process: How to Delete Multiple Transactions on EveryDollar Mobile and How to Delete Multiple Transactions on EveryDollar.com.

Error 404:

Should the attempt fail after 2-3 days following the 5 connection attempts, please submit a help request. Check for known updates on our Bank Status Page.
Error 908:
Why am I receiving this error?
This error typically occurs when the bank has made an update to its website or server. One of those changes can disrupt the connection with our third-party bank connection service, thus their assistance is necessary for restoration.

Based on our error reports, bank aggregation has been interrupted, thus preventing approved bank information from being received by our third-party bank connection service (MasterCard Connect). Because of this, MasterCard Connect automatically returns an Error 924.
How do I resolve this error?
This cannot be resolved without a bank representative championing the effort to engage with MasterCard Connect and allowing aggregation. We recommend contacting the bank to help locate a bank representative. Once a bank representative agrees to champion the effort, they can submit a request to our team through our Help Center (help.everydollar.com) to initiate an introduction with MasterCard Connect.
Error 940:

How do I resolve this error?
To remove the error, you'll need to remove the institution from EveryDollar.
Error 945 & 947:

There is an issue connecting to at least one of your accounts.
How do I resolve this error?
- In your Accounts tab in EveryDollar, remove your current connection to your bank using the Remove Institution option.
- Click Connect Account and search for your bank's name.
- Next, follow the prompts to sign in with your banking credentials, to give EveryDollar permission to access your bank data, and any others your bank requires.
- To successfully connect, ensure you follow all the prompts on screen. Keep in mind this may take a few more minutes than the normal sign-in as the bank verifies that EveryDollar is allowed to access your bank information.

It appears that your username or password is incorrect. If you've recently updated your account with this institution, be sure you're entering your updated credentials.
How do I resolve this error?
To ensure we get you reconnected as quickly as possible, I’ll walk you through a few troubleshooting steps:
- Go directly to your bank's website to verify you can sign into your bank account successfully by manually typing in your bank credentials there. Then, using the same credentials you used to successfully sign into your banks website, try adding your bank to EveryDollar again. Be sure to manually type your bank's sign-in information rather than using a password auto-fill tool, as this can sometimes result in an error.
- Next, open a private browsing window, or clear your current browsing window’s history. (It is best to try this in Google Chrome.) In that new browser follow step one.
If these steps do not work for you then sign into your bank's website and then copy the website (URL) listed at the top of the page and send that to our support team.

To resolve this error, double-check that you're entering the correct answer to your bank's security question. Also, make sure you’ve selected an MFA (multi-factor authentication) method, like a phone number (to receive text) or email address, that’s still active.

How do I resolve this error?
Check that the code you entered is the same code that was sent to you. You may need to try reconnecting and have another code sent to you and then make sure you manually submit the correct code. You might also try getting on a different device and signing into EveryDollar and going through the steps to reconnect that way to submit the code.

It looks like the connection didn’t go through because the bank didn’t get all the permissions it needs.
How do I resolve this error?
Try signing in again and be sure to follow all the steps to fully authorize the connection. A common cause of this issue is not finishing the sign-in process with your bank.
