If you've seen duplicate transactions sync into your EveryDollar budget, and the transactions are from your linked Chase Bank account, here's how to quickly get your budget back on track.
Check Your Connection Provider
EveryDollar uses two third-party bank connection providers to bring transaction and account balance updates from your bank into your budget.
The particular issue with Chase has stemmed from one of our connection providers, Plaid. Check your Accounts page to verify which provider your accounts are connected to. Underneath the Institution name, check to see which message you see:

Connections through Plaid
If you've confirmed that your Chase connection is through Plaid, switch your connection to our other provider, Mastercard Connect. Here's how:
From either the EveryDollar app or EveryDollar.com:
- Go to the Accounts page and delete your current connection. Keep in mind that deleting a connection will not remove previously imported transactions. You can delete any extra transactions in bulk.
- Choose the option to Connect Accounts. Do not select Chase Bank from the presented list of Institutions.
- Then, select “Having trouble? Try our other connection service, Mastercard Connect” (see attached).
- Search for Chase Bank and follow the prompts on-screen to get connected.
Note: Mastercard Connect will import a batch of transactions from the first of the month to the current date. These transactions don’t impact your tracked transactions and can be deleted in bulk.
