If you want to reset the Balance or if your carryover Balance is not correct for one of your Funds, you can update the Current Balance field.
From the Budget page in the EveryDollar app:
- Select the Fund you want to update.
- Choose Fund Details.
- Select on the blue dollar amount in the Current Balance field.
- Update the dollar amount to match the correct amount.
- Choose Save to preserve your changes.
From the Budget page on EveryDollar.com:
- Click on the Fund you want to update.
- On the right side of the screen, click Edit next to the Fund Details option.
- Click on the dollar amount in Current Balance field.
- Update the dollar amount to match the correct amount.
- Click Save to preserve your changes.
Please note that manually editing the Current Balance will create a transaction labeled Balance Updated, recording the difference between the previous Current Balance and what it was just changed to.
