The Account Balancer feature, available exclusively in the EveryDollar app, helps you match your actual bank balances with your Fund balances in your EveryDollar budget so you can keep them in sync.
How to Set Up the Account Balancer
Open the EveryDollar app and head to the Accounts page. Once you are in the Accounts section in the app, you will see the Account Balancer at the top.
Tap Assign Funds.
Next, you'll see a drop-down list of the Funds you have in your budget, which can be assigned to your connected bank accounts. Tap the drop-down arrow to see your Funds.
Tap on the Assign Funds link under your connected bank accounts to select which Funds in your budget you want to assign. Once you have chosen the desired Funds, tap Save.
- You'll then see your Fund items associated with the correct account. You can then continue to assign Funds to other connected bank accounts.
Pro Tip: Once you've assigned your Funds, you'll see that EveryDollar indicates when there's a discrepancy, and whether the discrepancy is caused by your bank account or the selected Funds.
