The message stating that your bank was last updated a certain number of minutes or hours ago (pictured below), a few different processes could have taken place.
What This Message Means
The updated message will periodically refresh to show you when any of these processes have occurred:
- Process one: Your bank refreshed the connection, and brought new information to your budget.
- Process two: EveryDollar has proactively checked for new information from the bank.
- Process three: While there was an update to the connection, no new transaction or balance information was provided by the institution.
Updates that do not provide new transaction or balance data can provide new information for the sign-in process, a new available account, or another change made by the institution or the connection provider.
Pro Tip: We expect transactions to update within one to three days, excluding weekends, after the purchase is moved to posted status in your banking portal.
Next Steps
If you notice that your bank account information isn't current, your bank may not have submitted the latest data to your budget yet.
