Connecting Venmo

You can now connect your Venmo account to EveryDollar, making it even easier to use this money in your monthly budget. We'll outline how to connect using our bank connection provider, Plaid, whether you're using EveryDollar.com or EveryDollar mobile.

From EveryDollar.com

1. Click the Accounts icon in the left menu bar.
2. On the Connect Accounts page, select Search For Your Institution with Plaid. Follow the prompts to search for Venmo.
3. Manually enter the same login information you use to sign in to your bank's website (don't use an auto-fill). Be sure to answer any security prompts (i.e. one-time passcode, security question) correctly.
4. Click “Submit.”
5. Complete any verification prompts. 

From the EveryDollar Mobile

1. Tap the Accounts icon at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Connect Accounts. 
3. Tap Search For Your Institution with Plaid. Follow the prompts to search for Venmo.
4. Manually enter the same login information you normally use to sign in to your bank's website (don't use an auto-fill). Be sure to answer any security prompts (i.e. one-time passcode, security question) correctly.
5. Tap Submit.
6. Complete any Verification prompts.
