After transactions have been tracked, EveryDollar Premium users can export and download each month's transactions as a CSV file (month by month, but not the whole year at once). While exporting is available, importing files is not supported. Read more about that here: Importing Bank Statements
How to export a CSV file of tracked transactions:
- Sign in to your EveryDollar account on a computer
- Scroll to the very bottom of the budget
- Click "Download CSV"
- This will download a CSV file of your transactions for the month you are viewing.
- It includes the Group, Item, Type, Date, Merchant, Account, Amount, and Note details from each transaction.
- In order to export the previous month's data, click the Month and Year drop-down in the top left, change to the month you want to export, and repeat this process.
You will see two options for how you want to download a CSV in EveryDollar.
Next Steps
If your CSV file appears blank, double-check that you’ve assigned transactions to budget items for the month you’re trying to export. Only tracked transactions will appear in the CSV file.
