Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Ramsey account by requiring a verification code when you sign in. If you’ve previously enabled 2FA but no longer want to use it, you can turn it off from your account settings on a computer by following the steps below.
Just follow these simple steps from a computer:
Sign in to your EveryDollar account at EveryDollar.com.
In the bottom-left corner of the screen, click the small arrow next to your email address, then click Settings.
Under your profile settings, click the blue Manage Your Account link.
On the Account Overview screen, click Security on the left side of the screen.
Under the Two-Factor Authentication section, click the blue Turn Off button.
When prompted, enter your account password to confirm.
Click the red Yes, Turn It Off button to disable 2FA.
Once completed, your account will no longer require a verification code when signing in.
If you run into any issues, feel free to reach out to our support team at help@everydollar.com.
Note: If you decide to turn 2FA back on in the future, you can easily re-enable it at any time from the same account page.
