Baby Step 6 focuses on paying off your home early. Unlike some of the other Baby Steps in the Financial Roadmap, Baby Step 6 cannot currently be marked as Completed when this step is finished.
As a workaround, once your mortgage is fully paid off, you can select Skip This Step to move forward in the Roadmap.
What Should I Do After My Home Is Paid Off?
Once you've paid off your mortgage:
- Select Baby Step 7 in the Roadmap.
- Select the Paid-For Properties section.
- Select Add Property
- Enter the Name, Type, and Value
This allows you to accurately reflect that your home is completely paid off in Baby Step 7.
