The Roadmap is built on the 7 Baby Steps, Dave Ramsey’s proven plan to help you get out of debt, build wealth, and take control of your money. You’ll see how your journey plays out over time and how quickly you can reach financial peace.

How to Get Started on EveryDollar.com

  1. Log in at EveryDollar.com and select Roadmap in the menu on the left side of the screen.

  2. Click Get Started.

  3. Enter your personal info (age, income, desired retirement age).

Pro Tip: Only one person’s info can be entered, so we recommend spouses discuss what to enter here.

  1. Add your numbers for each Baby Step (you can estimate and adjust later).

  2. Review your projected net worth over time, including when you’ll hit millionaire status.

  3. Try adjusting your margin to see how putting more or less toward goals changes your timeline.

 

How to Get Started in EveryDollar Mobile

  1. Open EveryDollar Mobile and tap on the Today tab and then scroll down until you see the Financial Roadmap section.

  2. Tap See Your Roadmap.

  3. Tap Get Started.

  4. Enter your personal info (income, birthdate, desired retirement age).

  5. Complete the Your Margin section.

  6. Add your Baby Step details, or make your best guesses and update later.

  7. Explore your timeline, milestones, and net worth projection.

  8. Adjust your margin in the app to test different scenarios and see how it changes your path.
