A budget item (sometimes called a subcategory or line item) cannot be moved directly between groups at this time. Since this feature isn’t available yet, you’ll need to follow a few extra steps to make the changes you want.
To do this, first delete the line item from your budget and then create the same budget item in the new group and enter all the necessary information again. Please note that data from the original budget item won’t transfer automatically.
