Have you ever looked at Checking Account 0001 and thought to yourself, "I wish I could give that account a nickname?" We've been there too.
Right now, EveryDollar's connection to your linked accounts only permits syncing over your account updates, and does not support updating the nickname for your sub-accounts.
Many budgeters have success by signing directly in to their institution's portal and updating the nickname there. Once the change is saved, and the bank sends the update to our connection providers, you'll see the change applied to your budget, depending on your bank's internal system.
