EveryDollar allows you to set a specific target goal to assist you in saving for the expenses you need to prepare for. By creating a target goal within the app, you can clearly define the amount of money you want to save and the timeline for achieving it. Whether you are saving for a large purchase, an upcoming event, or an emergency fund, setting a target goal in EveryDollar makes it easier to plan and track your savings effectively. Creating a target goal on EveryDollar's web version using a computer is not yet available.
Creating a Target Goal on Mobile
- Sign in to EveryDollar, and on the budget page, you should see a notification for creating your first target goal. It should show "Time to set another goal." Follow the steps to create the target goal you want to add.
2. Once the target goal is created, you will see it show up in your budget with its own target goal bucket. It will also show up in your "savings" bucket.
To create multiple goals or to view all of your existing goals, simply click on the "Today" tab. This feature allows you to easily manage and track your goals in one convenient place. You will have access not only to your current planned goals but also to the goals you have already completed.
