Since your budget can change at any time, adding new Budget Items on the EveryDollar app should be easy. And we gotcha covered there! Check out how simple it is to create new lines in your spending plan.
How to add new Budget Items on the EveryDollar app
- Tap Planned to view the Planned budget
- Tap the Add Item option underneath the Budget Group where you want the item.
- Type the name of the new Budget Item.
- Tap the dollar amount on the right to input how much you have planned for that Budget Item.
- Tap Done.
Pro Tip: Made some extra income? Give it a name in the Income section and tell it what to do!
Next Steps
If you created a line in a previous budget and no longer need it, trim things down by deleting it.
