The colored doughnut graph in the web version of EveryDollar gives you a quick, visual snapshot of your budget’s overall health for the month. It’s a powerful tool for understanding how much you’ve planned, spent, and have remaining at a glance.
🔍 Where to Find the Doughnut Graph
- Log in to your budget at everydollar.com.
- In the top-right corner of the screen, click the Summary icon (next to the Transactions icon).
- You’ll see a colored doughnut graph that visually displays your budget activity for the selected month.
🟢 What the Colors Mean
Each budget group in your EveryDollar budget is labeled with a color, and those colors appear on the circle graph to visually represent how your money is allocated among your different budget groups.
As you adjust your budget or track spending, the circle graph updates in real time to reflect your latest totals. Use it as a quick reference to see where your money is going and how much you have left.
📊 Monthly Totals Breakdown
Just below the graph, you’ll see labeled links for:
- Planned: The total amount of money you’ve assigned to budget items/groups for the month.
- Spent: Total of all tracked transactions for the month.
- Remaining: How much of your planned amount is still left to spend.
These totals update automatically as you make changes in your budget, track expenses, or adjust your planned amounts, so the graph always reflects your most current data.
💡 Tip: Use this graph regularly throughout the month to quickly check in on your progress and make adjustments as needed. It’s a great way to stay visually connected to your money goals.
