Currently there is not a way to delete a month once it has been created, and EveryDollar does not offer a function to hard reset a budget month. However, to reset the current month's budget, review the options below.
When a future month's budget is created and changes are made to the current month, those changes (like adding new groups/categories or budget items) will not automatically copy over. For this reason you may not want to start future budgets too far in advance.
You can click the "Reset Budget" button at the bottom left of your budget, and you will see two options.
Heads up, there's no way to 'undo' the Reset!
1. Make all of your Planned amounts $0.00
2. Replace this month's budget with last month's budget
Just click the blue Reset button on the option you'd like to complete the Reset!
💡 Pro Tip: If you want to start completely over with EveryDollar, you can sign up for a brand new account with a different email address and start fresh that way.
