Connecting bank accounts is a feature only available with EveryDollar Premium. Follow the steps below to connect your bank accounts on the computer version of EveryDollar at everydollar.com:
- Sign in at everydollar.com on a computer or laptop.
- Click the Accounts icon in the left menu bar.
- On the Connect Institution page, select Search For Your Institution with Plaid. Follow the prompts to search for your bank by name or website (i.e. First Bank OR firstbank.com).
If you already have another bank account added, click “+ Add Another Account” to search for a different bank.
- Manually enter the same login information you use to sign in to your bank's website (don't use an auto-fill). Be sure to answer any security prompts (i.e. one-time passcode, security question) correctly.
- Click “Submit.”
- Complete any Verification prompts.
When you log in, you’ll see a list of all of the accounts you have open at this bank (checking, savings, money market account, credit cards, etc.). If you don't want EveryDollar to connect to one or more of the accounts, click the down arrow beside the account you wish to remove for more options. Some larger banks require that all accounts remain connected in order to stream transactions. For these banks, you can instead choose to not stream the accounts instead of removing them.
NOTE:
-If you have any trouble connecting via our data provider, Plaid, try Mastercard Connect. The Mastercard Connect link is found at the bottom of the Connect Institution page.
-It is not possible to connect bank accounts via routing numbers and account numbers for security purposes.
*Connected bank accounts do not currently have the ability to be linked directly to a Goal, Fund, debt, or budget item.
