Funds can be edited to account for changes in your personal goals. The Emergency Fund will be treated the same as any other Fund and can be updated to reflect your Baby Steps progress (Baby Step 1 or 3).
To edit your Funds (on the web version):
- Start on the main Budget page.
- Click on the Fund (piggy bank icon) you want to edit.
- Click "Edit" under "Fund Details" on the right side
- Under "Current Balance", enter the correct amount.
- Click Save.
To edit your Funds (on the mobile app):
- Start on the main Budget page.
- Tap on the Fund (piggy bank icon) you want to edit.
- Tap Fund
- Tap the figure listed to the right of "Current Balance", and enter the correct amount.
- Tap Save.
Note: Editing the Current Balance will create a manual transaction for the difference between the current balance and what was previously listed to record the change. The title of the transaction will be "Balance Updated" under "Transactions"/"Activity This Month".
