Funds can be updated to account for changes in your personal goals. The Emergency Fund will be treated the same as any other Fund and can be updated to reflect your Baby Step 1 or 3 progress. Here's how to update your Funds.

To Edit a Fund on EveryDollar.com
- Start on the Budget page.
- Click on the Fund (piggy bank icon) you want to edit.

Click Edit next to Fund Details on the right side of your screen.

In the Current Balance field, enter the correct amount.
- Click Save.
To Edit a Fund in EveryDollar Mobile
- Start on the Budget page.
- Tap on the Fund (piggy bank icon) you want to edit.
- Tap Fund Details.
- In the Current Balance field, tap the listed dollar amount and update it to the correct amount.
- Then tap on Save at the bottom of the page.
Note: Editing the Current Balance will create a transaction for the difference between the current balance and what was previously listed to record the change. The title of the transaction will be Balance Updated and will show in the Activity This Month section.
