To edit a Planned amount in the EveryDollar mobile app, tap Planned, locate the Budget Item, tap its number, enter the new amount, and tap Done. Compare Planned and Spent amounts monthly, then assign any leftover money in your budget.
To edit the "Planned" amount on the EveryDollar mobile app:
- Tap Planned at the top of the budget beneath the month title.
- Locate the Budget Item that needs to be edited.

Tap the number to the right of the Budget Item title (only tap the number). Tapping anywhere else on the Budget Item will bring you to the screen where you change the item name.
- Enter the amount you want in the Planned column and tap Done.
Pro Tip: Check your Planned number in each Budget Item against the Spent number at the end of the month so you'll know if adjustments need to be made going forward.
