You can enter giving into your budget as a regular Budget Item or as a Fund, depending on how you plan to give. Giving is a priority at every Baby Step, whether that means tithing to a church or giving to another organization.
How do I budget for a regular church tithe?
If you tithe regularly to a church, add your tithe as a Budget Item within the Giving group. See How to Add a New Budget Item for the steps.
How do I budget for a one-time or lump-sum gift?
If you are saving toward a lump-sum gift to an organization, create a Fund within the Giving group instead. See What Is a Fund? to learn more.
Note: Giving remains a priority no matter which Baby Step you are on. As you continue giving, keep working the Baby Steps so you can build toward giving generously down the road.
