I'm a bookkeeper, so very familiar with financial software. I have the same request. I did not like using QuickBooks online for personal budgeting because it just does not work well for it. I am really liking Every Dollar, but this is a big negative for me.  I still have a lot to learn about the program, but I want the same totals that Stephen Miller is asking for. I'm actually considering just going back to Excel or using my bank budget program.

Yes something like this would be especially helpful since every month there are areas I overspend in and areas I underspend in, I would love to be able to confirm if on an overall level, I stuck to my budget.

Could we also get planned added to the download? I try to review my budget weekly, and I would like to be able to see my planned numbers next to what I've actually spent.

I really want to see a total spending for each category and then a total of all spending at the bottom please.  I am getting frustrated.

Yes, this is a feature I would really like to see.  I want to see my progress and where I may be over or under during the month.

Part of my end-of-month budget reconciliation process requires me to add up the “planned” amounts and “remaining” amounts in some of my groups. It would be really nice to be able to see these totals so I don't have to use a calculator to manually (and inevitably fat-finger something) add them up.
