Notes: Monthly Budget Memo / "Financial Journal" Section

EveryDollar Team,

I’m a huge fan of the app and how it keeps me accountable! Currently, we can add notes to individual transactions, but I’d love to see a Notes Section for the entire month.

I envision this as a "financial journal" where I can document:

• The "Why": Explaining why we overspent in a category or how we solved a specific financial hurdle that month.
• The "Future": Reminders for next year (e.g., "Clean carpets in March").
• The "Change": Notes on why a new category was added or why a budget amount shifted significantly from the previous month.

Having a high-level view of the month’s "story" would be an incredible tool for long-term tracking.

  I feel exactly the same way. I can't find an area that fits my needs. Please insert a notes section on the budget page.
