Paycheck Planning: Edit Specific Fill Amounts
Pinned PlannedWhen setting up a budget in the Paycheck Planner, fills are currently split into equal amounts based on the number of days selected. It would be helpful to allow each fill to be edited to a specific amount when the payments aren’t intended to be even.
For example, if my rent is $2,300 and Zelle limits me to sending $2,000 per transaction, I would actually pay $2,000 one day and $300 the next. The planner currently splits this into two equal payments of $1,150, which doesn’t reflect real-life payment behavior.
Since the app already allows splitting debits across multiple budget categories, it would be very useful to have similar flexibility within the Paycheck Planner. I really like the app, but this limitation makes planning less accurate. Thank you.

Yes please!! So difficult, especially for debt snowball where the minimum payment comes out on a different date than extra payments.

I would also like to see a way to specifically edit the amount of money through numerous selected days on paycheck planning.
I believe we can fine tune data input in order to get better data output, thus, giving the user a better experience. For instance, when using “Paycheck Planning” the current feature splits a bi-weekly paycheck right down the middle at 50%, I would like it to instead be adjustable for those of us who receive a larger paycheck at the end of the month compared to our first paycheck of the month.
What might this look like? Picture this: Billy Bob is an hourly paid employee and makes $10,000 net each month. Billy Bob is paid bi-weekly, however, his last paycheck of the month factors the entire months “per diem” as well as any overtime hours. Let say 25% of the total monthly paycheck ($2,500) is paid on the 3rd of the month, while the other 75% of his paycheck ($7,500) is paid on the 17th of the month. This isn’t currently factored into the Every Dollar app and can make budgeting difficult.
A nice NEW FEATURE to the Every Dollar app would be a sliding adjustable scale, perhaps a percentage widget, allowing the user to specifically adjust what percentage of their Total Monthly Pay is paid through their 1st versus 2nd paycheck of the month.
