Attempting to refresh or connect your SoFi accounts in EveryDollar and it's returning an error or not syncing?
Our system shows an error reflected as a result of internal bank changes preventing our third-party bank connection service (Finicity) from maintaining the connection. Apologies for the inconvenience!
UPDATE: Some EveryDollar Premium users have successfully connected to SoFI, so it is worth trying to establish a fresh connection once more (you may need to delete the bank and re-add it). We have not received any additional information from Finicity on a permanent resolution to the SoFi integration. Therefore, as Finicity and SoFi work together, there may be some functionality that returns intermittently. Until Finicity has tested the integration and sees success with the quality of integration expected, they will not confirm a resolution has been reached.
While banks don’t directly support data syncing with third-party apps like EveryDollar, many of them will work directly with Finicity to establish a successful connection. We encourage you to reach out to a representative at your bank to express your desire to connect your accounts to EveryDollar. Then, once they are on board, please have them submit a request form HERE to begin the approval process of building this new connection.
💡 Pro Tip: Banks are more receptive to their customers reaching out directly versus third-party services. This is why we encourage you to contact the bank directly.
Hopefully, through the combined voices, the bank will work with Finicity to resolve these roadblocks.
We recommend periodically searching for your bank in EveryDollar to see if it has been added. In the meantime, manually adding and tracking transactions is a good way to stay up to date with your budget.
Visit the Bank Status Page for updates as they become available.
